Even the inflatable turkey came out for this event. The Vendrell kids hosted a feast to remember complete with a Popeyes fried turkey, lots of random people, more carb-filled dishes and more great memories that we’ve shared together.

Off to the motherland
This trip was packed full of good times. Hitting up the club at Fabric and realizing after when we saw the pictures that we were engulfed in smoke and speakers that took up the whole dance floor. We met your friend Sam, you took everyone’s money at poker and saw the family jewels….and that was only in London. We took the chunnel, you met my family, they loved you, we walked, you broke your shoes and got blisters, we ate French fries, rode our bikes to another country, drank on the beach, saw the Halloween light show in Brussels main square, took a boat trip around Brugge, shopped for shoes, bought some shoes, wished you had different shoes (you get the trend). We then took our adventures to Paris for a whirlwind tour that included a 26.2 mile walk around just about every scenic tourist spot that we could hit up. We witnessed one of the funniest parking experiences ever while sampling fine French cuisine. You looked so happy on that carousel!

If only they had stayed together!
I think if we were Kevin and Britney we would have made it work. Clearly we had the look and the attitude to pull it off. Sure I was off gallivanting with other ladies but you can’t stop a pimp. (I promise I was just in character). Your artistic talents were revealed to me in the form of your tattoo replicating skills. To this day, I kind of wish that had been permanent.

San Antonion Bubble Bath
The first of a couple San Anton trips. We also expanded on our love for some of the best calamari we’ve had to date. We toured the Alamo, the riverwalk, that crazy little market where you bought the tiles for our coasters and you also left a little of yourself behind on the concrete heading home to the Emily Morgan! Hehe.

Let the music begin…

One ACL down and many, many more sleepless, sweaty music-filled weekends ahead of us. I do believe this was the first year we managed to exploit the system. Not only did we get free tickets but we brought in some delicious snacks. It’s become a bit of a tradition to one-up the food brought the previous years but this one was memorable.

Are you all in?
Some may say that your love of poker began on a warm night at Vendrell. I’m sorry that I still correct you on etiquette, I do it because I love you (and probably because I’m a little OCD). Either way, you are a great poker player and while this night may be more remembered for the infamous “what do you call those things, poppers?” quote, it built the foundation for some good bets down the road.

Tiger Woods has nothing on us
So I’m not big into birthdays but you planned one heck of a good time at Peter Pan put put. Sure they might have spelled my name wrong but who doesn’t. I also enjoyed you pretending to be one of the pirate statues but looking a lot like you were saluting the Third Reich. The crazy waitress at Baby A’s with her evil tequila was a nice finishing touch on the evening. We should do that again and soon.
